Gospel Gems for February 2010

Sorry I'm a bit late posting these 'Gospel gems' for February. They are posted here directly from a calendar I bought in a Christian bookshop in Cork city. Oddly, it has no information about who published it. I'm not sure which version of the Holy Bible they used for these quotes.

February 2010:

Monday, 1st: Give ear to my words, O Lord (Ps 5:1)

Tues, 2nd: O Lord, consider my meditation (Ps 5:1)

Wed, 3rd: I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart (Ps 9:1)

Thur, 4th: For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Tim 6:10)

Fri, 5th: Speak evil of no one (Titus 3:2)

Sabbath, 6th: Let us.....come boldly to the throne of grace (Heb 4:16)

Sun, 7th: We will reap if we do not lose heart (Gal 6:9)

Mon, 8th: God.....a Father of the fatherless (Ps 68:4-5)

Tues, 9th: Perfect love casts out fear (1Jn 4:18)

Wed, 10th: He who humbles himself will be exalted (Lk 18:14)

Thur, 11th: Let not your heart be troubled (Jn 14:1)

Fri, 12th: As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you (Jn 15:9)

Sabbath, 13th: Shame shall be the legacy of fools (Prov 3:35)

Sun, 14th: They trusted in You, and were not ashamed (Ps 22:5)

Mon, 15th: The righteous shall be glad in the Lord (Ps 64:10)

Tues, 16th: He blesses the home of the just (Prov 3:33)

Wed, 17th: The righteous shall.....trust in Him (Ps 64:10)

Thur, 18th: My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped (Ps 28:7)

Fri, 19th: Walk in all His ways (Deut 11:12)

Sabbath, 20th: His praise endures forever (Ps 111:10)

Sun, 21st: Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath (Eph 6:4)

Mon, 22nd: Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters (Eph 6:5)

Tues, 23rd: With good will doing service, as to the Lord (Eph 6:7)

Wed, 24th: Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Eph 6:10)

Thur, 25th: The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Eph 6:17)

Fri, 26th: As we have opportunity, let us do good to all (Gal 6:10)

Sabbath, 27th: There is.....one God and Father of all (Eph 4:4-6)

Sun, 28th: Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbour (Eph 4:25).
